The museum has a staff of around 160 people (just over 100 full-time employees, the rest, part-time employees). Approximately 67 different job roles are undertaken to make the National Media Museum run smoothly, look great and have so many interesting activities and events to take part in.

I am part of a small team of Duty Managers who deal directly with our visitors. The museum has a great atmosphere and I enjoy being part of a museum that is moving forward, with plans for the future.

I’ve been working in the Human Resources department at the Museum since March 2006. I support staff from across the museum with their employee relations. My role is always varied, interesting and enjoyable and it allows me to work with a lot of people from all areas of the Museum.
