The National Media Museum offers a wide range of learning opportunities for visitors of all ages and abilities. If you are a teacher, lecturer, group leader, tour operator or individual adult we aim to help you make the most of your visit. There are seven galleries focusing on photography, television, animation, light and IMAX film technology as well as a changing programme of special exhibitions. At the heart of the museum is our spectacular IMAX cinema with its giant 14.6m high by 19.81m wide screen. We show both 2D and 3D films. Together with the surround sound system the IMAX experience is truly amazing and not be missed!
Your visit could include any of the following: talks, workshops, IMAX films (and free IMAX educational resources), gallery activity sheets, storytimes, e-learning web and print-based resources, INSET, study days, special events, courses and reminiscence sessions. Bookable facilities also include lunch box storage and free packed lunch areas. Please call 0870 70 10 201 and we'll help plan the right visit for you.
